TULSSAA considers its members to be not only the reason behind the existence of the alumni but also the very backbone of the alumni association.

One must be:

1. Master of Library and Information Science

Exclusively from Tribhuvan University, the Central Department of Library and Information science to be a valid TULSSAA member. Such B L I Scs and M L I Sc may obtain the membership of the alumni by registering formally with the alumni association.

• Honorary membership is at the discretion of the Executive Committee. Members are encouraged to obtain life membership, if feasible.
